 Ithaca, Cornell University Campus, Arboretum, Native Maples, full sun, bottom of west facing slope, Single trunked tree, 10 feet tall, spread 11 feet. Bark grey brown, fairly smooth. Leaves thick, dark green above, yellow green below, very pubescent. Some pedicels pubescent; twigs very thick., 16 Jul 2015, McNaull & Nix 03-232B (BH 128913);
