CAYUGA FLORA (1926) NOTES: As Lithospermum arvense L. : A weed of fields and roadsides, in stony and gravelly soil, probably with some clay ; frequent. May-June. Roadside n. of Enfield Glen; near mouth of Coy Glen; South Hill; C. U. campus; McKinneys ; bottom land, Paine Creek. Que. to Ont. and Mich., southw. to Ga. and Kans. ; infrequent in noncalcareous regions. Naturalized from Eu.
