Michigan Hollow; Stewart Park; Freeville Bog; Mud Creek, Freeville; Mud Pond, McLean Bogs; East Genoa; between Willets and Paine Creek; Junius marl ponds; Tyre; Montezuma; and elsewhere. Newf. to n. Minn., B. C., and Alaska (?), southw. to N.J., Ill., and Colo.; rare or absent on the Atlantic Coastal Plain and in granitic N.E.
