Spencer; Newfield; n. of Enfield Falls; Six Mile Creek; McGowan Woods; s. of Waterburg; e. of Ludlowville; s.e. corner of Dryden; Mud Creek, Freeville; McLean Woods ; Black Brook, Tyre; and elsewhere. Que. to B.C., southw. to Pa., Mich., Wis., and Ariz.; rare or absent on the Atlantic Coastal Plain.
