Brook n.e. of Spencer Lake; Lick Brook and Inlet Valley s.; South Hill (D.); Cascadilla woods; Cayuga Heights, often abundant; Renwick (D.); Malloryville: near Esty Glen; s. of Waterburg; s. w. of Mecklenburg; Union Springs; w. of Howland Island. Que. (?) and Me. to Man., southw. to N.C. and Mo.; rare or absent on the Coastal Plain.
