CAYUGA FLORA (1926) NOTES: Damp woods and glades, in alluvial or mucky, neutral or slightly calcareous, soils; frequent. May 20-June 20. Common in Michigan Hollow Swamp; Larch Meadow; Slaterville Swamp; Ellis Hollow; Ringwood; and elsewhere. W. Me. to Mich., southw. to Del., D. C, and Ohio, and along the mts. to Ga.; rare on the Coastal Plain.
