CAYUGA FLORA (1926) NOTES: Swamps, in calcareous regions; rare. June. Spencer Lake and swamp n.; boggy woodlands along Beaver Brook (K. M. W. & A. R.Bechtel). Vt. and Ont. to Mich., southw. to Conn., n. N.J., and Mo.( ?); probably absent on the Coastal Plain.
