CAYUGA FLORA (1926) NOTES: Damp woods, shadv roadsides, and yards, in gravellv nonacid soils ; common. Fr. July 20-Sept. N. K. to S. Dak., southw. to Ga., Mo., and Tex. ; occasional but rare on the Coastal Plain. Cryptotaenia is in the list of nomina conservanda of the International Code.
