N.W. of Enfield Falls; South Hill, near the Morse Chain Works; s. slope of Turkey Hill, and valley near by (D.!) ; Etna to Ringwood; s. w. of Freeville (D.); pasture s. e. of McLean; Cornell Heights, near Fall Creek Drive; roadside, also lake shore talus, near Esty (Burdicks) Glen (D.!); w. of Townley Swamp; becoming more frequent during the past few years. N.S. to Ont.. Mich., and Iowa, southw. to Ga., including the Coastal Plain. Naturalized from Eu.
