CAYUGA FLORA (1926) NOTES: Calcareous springy places; abundant. Aug.-Sept. Generally distributed throughout the basin where calcareous springs occur; rare in the more acid regions on the higher hills. Me. and Ont. to S. Dak. and Colo., southw. to Ga., La., and Kans.; rare or absent on the Coastal Plain.
