CAYUGA FLORA (1926) NOTES: Damp or rather dry rich borders of woods and thickets, in gravelly neutral or acid soils; frequent. Fr. July 15-Aug. Enfield Glen; Six Mile Creek; Cascadilla woods; Fall Creek; McLean; and elsewhere. Newf. to Alberta, southw. to Ga. and Colo.; frequent on the Coastal Plain.
