Michigan Hollow Swamp; Brookton Springs (D.); above Enfield Falls and in the ravine; mouth of Lick Brook; Larch Meadow; n. of Coy Glen; s. of Mecklenburg; Parkway, Cayuga Heights; formerly on C.U. campus (D.); Indian Spring marsh (D.) ; Freeville (D.!); Mud Creek, Freeville; McLean Bogs; Beaver Brook (D.) ; Spring Lake. Newf. to Alaska, southw. to Md., Ky., and La., the Rocky Mts., and B.C.; occurs sparingly on the Atlantic Coastal Plain.
