CAYUGA FLORA (1926) NOTES: Dry rocky or gravelly sterile woods, in acid soils ; common. June. Most abundant on the ravine crests of the basin, and on the crests of the cliffs along the shore of Cayuga Lake. N. B. to Minn., southw. to Ga., Ala., and Mich. ; frequent on the Coastal Plain.
