Box tree moth caterpillar. This asiatic species is an invasive species in Europe, where it thrives on Buxus sempervirens and Buxus colchica. It is present in Europe at least since 2006 (Germany). In Europe, the moth has several generations a year and up till now no natural ennemies. As a result, young infested Buxus individuals may quickly die.
